My Biography

I have been performing, recording and teaching music for the past 20 years. I currently play in a range of different bands (Blues/Rock, Folk/Acoustic, Soul/Funk, Jazz) and perform regularly all over the UK. I am a member of The Registry of Guitar Tutors and I work for them as an examiner in electric, acoustic and bass guitar up to diploma level. I teach music part-time at a local college as well as running my own successful private teaching practice. I teach all styles of electric, acoustic and bass guitar playing to an advanced level. I have a First Class BA Jazz degree from Middlesex University and a guitar teaching diploma from the London College of Music LLCM(TD).

I have worked professionally in the music industry in a wide variety of situations from writing and producing music for commercial release, to providing studio engineering support for Artists such as Sting and Robbie Williams. I have designed and built my own recording studio and always have an interesting recording project on the go. I have had a number of successful releases on Good Looking Records, approximately 30,000 copies have been sold.
